1. a son of Zeus and Europa, king of the Lycians, to whom Zeus granted the privilege of living for three generations.
2. (in another account) a son of Zeus and Laodamia, leader of the Lycians in the Trojan War and an ally of the Trojans, killed by Patroclus.
